The MSR Striker Avalanche Probe is an essential piece of kit when heading to the back country or mountaineering, particularly after recent snowfall. The Striker comes in different lengths and offers maximum strength and stiffness with minimal weight. It packs nice and neat on the outside of a pack or in its own stuff sack the deploys super quick should an avalanche or snow drift strike.
