The PDW Beast Hoodie is a highly breathable, insulating full zip mid-layer made with Polartec high loft ThermalPro fleece. The distinct appearance of this high loft fleece is reminiscent of the original pile fleece jackets that first hit the alpine and mountaineering circles in the late 1970s and early 80s. Similar to animal fur, the lofted properties of this fleece traps warm air to insulate, especially when worn under a shell. The Beast Hoodie is literally cut from a different cloth, like those who choose to wear it, know how to crank it up and get in a certain mode. You know who you are. #beasthoodie

High loft fleece is one of our Chief Designer's favorite technical performance textiles to work with over the last 11 years for not only its performance characteristics, but also unique appearance. The design inspiration is drawn from the classic alpine styles that ushered in the era of performance synthetic fleece in the outdoor market. This Polartec high loft ThermalPro has stretch properties and easily moves with the wearer, warm, quiet and is exceptionally soft. The Beast Hoodie is for those who blaze their own trails, make their own way, and are the king of their terrains. Available in Darker Earth.
